Hire a Brick-Building Workshop for your Event

The Brickx Club Limerick provides fully facilitated, mobile brick-building workshops for shopping centres, festivals, and corporate family days across the Mid-West. We’ve delivered pop-up workshops at the Crescent Shopping Centre and corporate events including the Johnson & Johnson Family Day at Limerick Racecourse. Everything is self-contained – you provide the space, we bring everything else.

What’s Involved?

Public Event sessions are structured around a engagement stations allowing children to engage with different types of building depending on interest and energy levels. A typical setup may include:

  • 2×2 pixel-art builds
  • 2×4 skill-building bricks for larger constructions
  • A large collection of vehicles, wheels, planes, and parts
  • Roads and base plates for town or city-style builds
  • Giant foam bricks for large-scale, collaborative structures
  • Colour-coded boxes for decoration and creative detailing

Stations are arranged to suit the venue, event scale and expected footfall.

Who is it for?

  • Organisations hosting family days or public engagement events
  • Shopping centres, libraries, festivals and community venues
  • Corporate or organisational events with a family focused programme (similiar to our school creativity day programme)

The venue or organisation hires the service directly and provides the event space.

How is the day structured?

  • Sessions run as open, pop-up workshops over an agreed time period
  • Typical bookings range from 2-4 hours, depending on the event
  • Children and families can join at any point and move freely between stations
  • Light facilitation is provided, including: short skill building prompts, support with ideas and construction techniques, encouragement of collaboration and shared builds.

The focus is on accessibility, flow, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout the event.
