About
The Brickx Club Limerick delivers structured, creative brick building sessions for children and families across Limerick and the wider region. Workshops are designed to support creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in a calm, well-managed environment.
Part of a Wider Network
The Brickx Club Limerick operates under licence from The Brickx Club, a national network of over 20 facilitators delivering creative brick-based workshops across Ireland. Each club is independently run, while sharing a common focus on creativity, care, and child-led learning.
Community Focus
While part of a national network, The Brickx Club Limerick is locally run and community focused. Sessions are planned with care and attention to the individual child, supporting different abilities, personalities, and ways of thinking and engaging. The emphasis is on inclusion, encouragement, and creating a positive experience for every participant.
The Team
Sessions are supported by trained facilitators, often art students or graduates, who bring a strong creative focus to each workshop. Team members are selected for their ability to work attentively with children, support collaborative play, and maintain a calm, positive atmosphere throughout sessions.
Creative Approach
The Brickx Club Limerick is run by Lisa Hester, an artist, lecturer, and creative facilitator with a background in arts and health. Her experience working across schools, care settings, and community contexts shapes how sessions are designed – with an emphasis on creativity, imaginative thinking, and problem solving, alongside clear structure and supervision.
